Home Meal Preparation Waterloo Ontario

Meal-preparation services supply the ingredients, equipment and facilities to assemble entrees, and in some cases, complete dinners. The entrees are frozen and stored until they are to be cooked at home.

How a Meal-Preparation Service Works

All meal-preparation services generally work in the same way.

  1. Place an order on the company's website for the type and number of entrees desired and schedule a time for a session. Six entrees will require a one-hour session while 12 will require a two-hour session.
  2. Once at the meal-preparation store, check in with the staff to find out where on the rotation to begin. Each station will be set up to create one entree.
  3. Following the detailed instructions at each station and using the ingredients and equipment provided, assemble each entree in the bag or box provided.
  4. Label each entree with the stickers provided. The sticker will have the name of the entree and the cooking directions on it.
  5. Place the entree in the refrigerator on site and move on to the next station. Cleanup services will be provided by the staff.

Upon arriving home, place all entrees in the freezer unless they are to be eaten within the next couple of days. It's a good idea to clean out the freezer beforehand to make sure there will be space.
